We all want to appear strong, but what if our fake strength is actually keeping us from experiencing God’s power? In 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, Paul reminds us: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Instead of hiding our weaknesses, we’re called to boast in them—because that’s where God’s power is revealed. The church in Corinth struggled with pride, relying on their own wisdom and strength, but Paul reminded them who they were before Jesus. Without Him, we are nothing.
Steps to Boasting in Your Weakness
- Expose It – Bring your struggles into the light. Confess them, and watch the enemy lose his grip (Proverbs 28:13).
- Let Go & Let God – You don’t have to fix yourself before coming to Him. Bring your mess, and let Him transform it.
- Share Your Testimony – People don’t need to hear how strong you are; they need to hear how God met you in your weakness (Psalm 66:16).
What if your greatest weakness became your greatest testimony? Lay it down and let God do what only He can do.
