The Hard Truth: Are You Truly Surrendered?
True surrender isn’t just about the big things—it’s about every area of our lives, even the ones we justify or ignore. 1 Corinthians 10:31 reminds us: “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” That means every choice, habit, and attitude should reflect Him. But are we really living that way? Or are we managing our sin instead of crucifying it?
Maybe your struggle isn’t obvious—maybe it’s hidden in pride, control, distractions, or addictions. For me, it was cookie dough. Not because eating sweets is sinful, but because it exposed my lack of self-control and my refusal to surrender even the little things. What’s your “cookie dough”?
The Call to the Altar
What’s standing between you and full surrender? Pride? Fear? Comfort? Control?
Romans 12:1 urges us to “offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” God isn’t asking for part of you—He’s asking for everything. If He’s convicting you today, lay it down. Stop resisting. The altars are open. It’s time to wake up and fully surrender.
